The Bridget Jones franchise made a welcome return to theaters last year (2016) and the latest film Bridget Jones Baby has been nominated for Best Comedy at the National Film Awards UK . The lead actress,Renée Zellweger, (Bridget Jones’s Baby) also goes head to head with National Film Academy alumni Gemma Jones in the Best Actress category. Gemma is also nominated for the Best Supporting Actress category.
